The Compact Cassette, often referred to as tape.

Mike Drew takes me back to 87, when I traded punk, hardcore and hiphop tapes with friends. Some guys also had a huge tape list and you could pick the ones they would tape for you, and tape them back the ones they picked from your list – that was only for tape diggers! Back when getting a couple albums on tape was Da shit! Forget the mp3 age criticism about rights and music ’cause we always did it!

The Compact Cassette, often referred to as audio cassette or tape was one of the most common formats for prerecorded music between the early 1970s and late 1990s. I still have thousands of them!
