36, Bairro Alto, LX

I’m doing some shirt graphics for 36 in Bairro Alto, Lisbon. I did this one yesterday night, inspired by 60’s comics’ legend Peter Gray. The “Coat-Of-Gentlemen” features two inspired mexican Day-of-the-Dead cats, chillin’ relaxed by the 36 bar, with the Lisbon flag as a background. The latin “Post Luctus, Gaudia” means: “First you cry, then you laugh”.

I designed this listening to Louis Prima, check his music out!! And i might add that Kelly Smith on that first video is a goddess!! 😉

Now you get it! Reef, Swing, Jump, Jive, An’ Wail!!! Oldskull to Newskull!
