Jean-Michel Basquiat, The Radiant Child
“The Radiant Child is a film about one of the most important visual artists in American history Jean-Michel Basquiat. The film was directed by the artists’ friend Tamara Davis, who started the task years ago, but decided to shelve the project after Basuiat’s tragic death. After 20 years the film debuted at this year’s Sundance Film festival. It is always good to get an intimate look at creative genius, and Basquiat represents the epitome of creativity.”
